THE TEN COMMANDMENTS
Concerning the Ten Commandments,there is a fundamental flaw in modern Christianity. Many "Christians" in Satan's deceived world,follow a counterfeit Christ. They think that He did away with His Father's commandments. They even worship Him. But Jesus said, "Howbeit in vain do they worship me,teaching for doctrines the commandments of men...And he also said, "Full well ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may keep your own tradition...Making the word of God of none effect through your tradition,which ye have delivered;and many such like things do ye (Mark 7:7,9,13)./ Are the majority of todays "Christians" following man's teachings and not God's? The answer is absolutely yes if you know what the Bible says about it.Modern "Christians" have failed to recognize that Jesus Christ is the King of God's soon coming Kingdom, and the Ten Commandments will be the foundation of the law in that Kingdom.The Ten Commandments have been in force since the creation of man.They are in force today,and will be enforced in the future.
THE TEN COMMANDMENTS
- 1. I am the LORD your God,who brought you out of bondage.You shall have no other gods besides me.
- 2. You shall not make for yourself any graven image-any likeness of anything that is in heaven,or earth,or the waters beneath the earth.You shall not bow down to them nor serve them.For I,the LORD your God,am a jealous God,visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children to the third and fourth generations of those who hate Me,but showing mercy to thousands,to those who love Me and keep my commandments.
- 3. You shall not take the name of the LORD your God in vain,for the LORD will not hold him guiltless who takes His name in vain.
- 4. Remember the Sabbath day,to keep it holy.Six days you shall labor and do all your work,but the seventh day is the Sabbath of the LORD your God.In it you shall do no work,for in six days the LORD made the heavens and the earth,the sea,and all that is in them,and rested on the seventh day.Therefore the LORD blessed the Sabbath day and hallowed it.
- 5. Honor your father and your mother,that your days may be long upon the earth which the LORD your God is giving you.
- 6. You shall not murder.
- 7. You shall not commit adultery.
- 8. You shall not steal.
- 9. You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.
- 10. You shall not covet your neighbor's house,nor his wife,nor anything that is your neighbor's.
